Saturday was a blast! Menu Maker Catering took the opportunity to show off just a tiny bit by throwing open the doors to the place we call home, The Woman’s Club of Nashville. This beautiful vintage mansion in the heart of Green Hills is a treasure hidden in plain sight. Located at the intersection of Hillsboro Pike and Golf Club Lane is is the perfect spot for a small wedding or rehearsal dinner.

We welcomed our guests with a Mimosa bar and  the southern specialties that have made Menu Maker famous. We passed Mini Chicken & Waffles and Fried Okra and laid the table with favorites like White Cheddar Pimento Cheese, Bacon Cheddar Spread and crisp crostini. For the more health conscience, we included a bounty of Roasted Vegetable and those amazing Sweet & Sour Brussel Sprouts that I can’t get enough of. Of course it wouldn’t be a Menu Maker’s party of favorites if we didn’t include the Stuffed Baby Bliss Potatoes; tiny red skinned potatoes stuffed with caramelized onions, Gorgonzola cheese and then finished with a Balsamic Vinegar Reduction. To wash it all down was our Blackberry Lemonade that you just have to taste to believe.

Our dear friends in the event industry were happy to lend a hand with the festivities. Liberty Party Rental set the stage with beautiful linen, china, crystal and flatware. They even brought those beautiful silver chivari chairs that every bride loves. Special thank you to Rachel Risen of Liberty for styling the Head Table in grand style.

Vicki Sanders, owner of Branching Out Event Florist, brought a much needed touch of spring with lovely centerpieces in spot on silver teapots for the guest tables. The soft pinks, lavenders and white of the tulips and hydrangeas complimented the new decor of Haley Hall perfectly.

To help show off the brides room, Ann Miller of Glitz Bridal graced us with stunning wedding gowns of Essence of Australia and Sottero Midgley.

A very special shout out goes to the uber creative Doug of Ace Photography for capturing the moment so very well.
