Saturday may have been cold but it was warm and cheery inside The Cordelle for the wedding of Erin and Phillip. There were so many thing that made this an interesting wedding that I almost don’t know where to begin.

Start with the WHO:

Phillip’s is the 3rd wedding we have done for this family. We also catered the weddings of his older brother and sister, 4 and 5 years ago. That made it like old home week! That is one of the things about being in business as long as we have; you start at some point seeing your clients grow up and the generations turn.

The WHAT: Now we do our fair share of breakfast catering but its usually in the morning. Erin & Phillip had their hearts set on “Breakfast for Dinner” which I think is a pretty yummy idea. We started the night off with Mini Chicken and Waffles drenched in Maple Syrup and passed Benton’s Bacon that had been dipped in Chocolate!

For dinner we included a recipe from each of the Mom’s. Erin’s Mom, Pam, had a recipe for a rockin’ breakfast casserole and Phillip’s mom blew everyone away with her recipe for Apple Cranberry Crumble.

The WHERE: This was our first wedding at The Cordelle. What a wonderful little treasure on the edge of downtown. I imagine it is going to be lovely in the spring.
