If you’ve been keeping up with Menu Maker on social media, you’ve heard about our new carryout expansion opening in Franklin off of Columbia Avenue. We’re so excited to finally release the date of our grand opening and to extend you a very special invitation to the party:

September 7!

It’s been a long journey to get to the grand opening, and we’ve accomplished so much in just this summer alone. Let’s take a look back at how we got here:

 

When our owner Mary Weary founded Menu Maker Catering over 25 years ago, she had huge hopes and dreams for this company – dreams that included owning her own storefront and bringing her family’s time-tested recipes to all of the Nashville community, not just her catering clients.

After a complete rebranding and website update earlier this year, Mary felt like the company was in the perfect position to take on a new role and expand its services. When she saw a chance to buy a building with a full kitchen and office space located in the heart of Franklin, she jumped at it, and Menu Maker’s carryout journey began.

First came the demolition: removing the existing signage and awnings, tearing down walls, removing equipment, and basically stripping the building down so we could rebuild it the way we wanted.

Next came the lighting and plumbing. The entire building was rewired and new plumbing laid down to maximize efficiency in both the kitchen and office spaces.

We started with moving in all of our kitchen equipment, including a brand new walk-in refrigerator and a 20 foot cook line.

 

Next, we moved to the office space, putting in two new desks, computers, printers, and our filing system.

Finally, we loaded up and organized our new storage space which contains all of our trays, containers, silverware, event décor, and catering equipment.

 

We’re in the home stretch now as we finish the decorating and aesthetic design of the offices and storefront space. Currently, we’re adding glass shelving, indoor and outdoor seating, an herb garden, and adding meaningful pieces that reflect the unique spirit of Menu Maker’s new carryout enterprise.

 

 

 

 

 

 

We are now open for catering and special orders, and will have limited carryout hours from 11-2pm starting August 14th as we prepare for our grand opening.

 

We cannot wait to share our finished product with you at our grand opening bash on September 7th!
